本网讯  6月13-14日，美国爱荷华州立大学Michael L Thompson教授来实验室交流，并做了《Decomposition of Crop Residues and SOM Chemistry》专题讲座，Michael L Thompson教授分别从《Decomposition of crop residues in soils》、《Overview of soil organic matter chemistry》、《Mechanisms of stabilization of soil organic matter》等方面系统介绍了作物秸秆在土壤中的降解途径与机理及其对土壤有机质化学结构与稳定性的影响。此外Michael L Thompson教授还为实验室师生做了《How to publish a scientific paper》的专题报告。Michael L Thompson教授现为安徽农业大学讲席教授，农田生态保育与污染防控安徽省重点实验室特聘外籍教授。
